ONLINE CAMP TUITION REGISTRATION is available for Camp Tuition which includes a Meal Plan, as this time is an integral part of learning and sharing at camp.
Lodging Registration is handled by The Lodge at Unicoi State Park 706.878.2201. See room choices below and on Registration Form, then call letting them know that you are with the Enchanted Forest group for July 6, 2008. As with any hotel reservation, your card will not be run until the end of your stay. If you choose Room Share options, we will help organize a good fit.
The Camp Tuition may be paid in installments, in which case final payment is due by June 5, 2008. Age is determined as of June 30, 2008. If your child turns 4 on July 1, 2008 you will pay the 4 and Up Kids’ rate. Children 3 and under are welcome at camp and are expected to be watched by a family member at all times, though there may be babysitting service for select programs.
If paying in installments online, please use DEPOSIT link and note on the printed/emailed registration form your amount due. We will send a reminder Email each month. A $30.00 service charge will be charged on all returned checks. A camper packet will be mailed upon deposit, including an newly completed Awareness Questionnaire to fill out and return to us before camp..
Financial Assistance: Some scholarships are available for those needing assistance. Funds are applied to the camp cost, after the application and deposit has been received. See Scholarship application page; copy to email and fill out. We highly advise families begin their own scholarship fund through friends, family and spiritual community. We will be happy to provide documentation of the value of this educational program to present to potential donors along with a verification of tax-deductible, non-profit (501-c(3)) status of ChildSpirit Institute with whom we work in partnership.
Camp Fee Discount: Every effort has been made to keep the tuition as low as possible, almost half of comparable specialty programs. In this light, no discount has been built into the fees. This way, no one is paying for someone else’s participation; more fair, more equitable; smile, be happy!
Open to All: No person is excluded because of race, color, gender, gender-identity, species, religious beliefs or dis-beliefs, or national origin. We encourage families to attend regardless of various childhood “diagnoses”; this camp is focussed upon the intuitive and aware human capacities. Even though the resort location is in the mountains, and not overly handicap-assessible, if your child needs this program, we will all chip in to make it work... this is a family afterall!
Confirmation: Once your application and deposit have been processed you will receive a confirmation via email, when available, or by mail. Please notify at once in the event of an error.
Cancellations and Refunds: A $25.00 registration fee is charged on all cancellations made 21 days or more prior to the opening day of camp. In case of illness, the camper may present a doctor's statement for full refund.
Liability Release Form: A Release of Liability Form is required each year! This form must be on file with the camp in order to attend.
Insurance: Your family health care policy is the primary provider.
Attendance: Part-time attendance is not advised. Campers who cannot stay for the entire program will not experience the full benefit of our carefully designed sessions in consciousness unfolding, and staying off campus loses the benefits of creating community.
Arrival & Check In: Lodge Room check-in begins at 4:00 pm. Camp registration table will be available any time after 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 6, 2008.
Room Assignments: Accommodations this year will be in either our own private Lodge at The Lodge at Unicoi State Park near Helen GA, or in the beautiful Tent Camping Area for a true camping experience More about the Park . For Lodge families, all attempts will be made to make assignments to suit each “camping” family. Teens and preteens may request assignment with age-mates instead of with parents.
Location: The beautiful Unicoi State Park is one of Georgia’s finest and is located about 2 hours northeast of Atlanta, Ga, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Photographs and limited video will be taken during Camp. Photographs will be used for promotional reasons and the video will be used to create an educational DVD and sold to help finance the event If you do not feel comfortable with your photograph or video being taken, please contact Mike Teeters at mike@arrowofmoonlight.com. We will do our absolute best to accommodate everyone's needs and personal preferences.
